Hey Lovelies,

I hope you're up to lots and having a good day! Today, I thought I'd do a bit more of a review type of post and share my thoughts on Zaful

If you ever do any online clothing shopping, you'll most likely have heard of Zaful. It is an online women's clothing outlet which offers trendy clothing pieces for cheap and affordable prices.
I don't know about you, but when I see shops like this online that aren't as renowned as H&M or Boohoo.com, I initially felt weary. But, after watching a few youtube videos which seemed to give Zaful some decent reviews, I decided I would bite the bullet and give it a go! Besides, I was on the hunt for some cute garments for my trip to Barcelona in May. I even wore one of the garments in this cheeky Instagram

The first dress I purchased was this mustard dress with some little floral designs speckled across the dress. The dress has an open back and an area to the side which you can tie into a pretty bow. All this for a price of $16.49.

When this mustard dress came, I noticed that it did smell a bit weird after coming out of the bag. It wasn't seriously offputting and was fixed by placing it in a wash.

Having read some of the reviews, I opted for a medium because some people said that the dress wasn't true to size. I could have definitely gotten a small, as I need to tie this dress up pretty tightly for it to fit properly on the sides.

I also noticed a few loose strings in places, but it's not something I'm too concerned about because it won't be noticed for afar!

Finally, I didn't really like the feel of this dress compared to some I have. I like a soft feeling cotton or something similar, but this has a rougher feeling to it. What's more frustrating is that I don't know what it's made of because it hasn't been provided on the garment. Although the care instructions have been.

I also got a red two-piece set which included a cute wrap skirt and an off the shoulder top. I really like the idea of these kinds of things because you kind of get three outfits for the price of one! You could wear the top and skirt as a duo, or separately with alternative pieces.

This two piece is a bit softer than the mustard dress and were bought for $22.49. I also got this in a size medium. However, just like the first dress, I could find a few loose threads here and there.

In terms of the fit, I ran into no problems with a skirt. Wrap skirts are designed to fit a variety of sizes though and you can tighten it to your liking. However, I don't like the way the top fits that much. The top falls down me if I don't tighten the strings at the back, but then when I tighten the strings I feel like the top sits too high! Maybe I'll experiment with a safety pin and see what difference that'll make!

Since I have given you a rundown of what I thought of the items, I thought I would also mention some of the positive and negatives I experienced using the Zaful website.

Zaful Positives

The Website - I honestly highly commend Zaful's website. It's very user-friendly and easy to navigate. You can simply type in the search bar what you're looking for and something will come up. I also just like the general appearance of the website and the pictures of the garments provided.

Delivery - I've heard a mix of reviews regarding how long delivery takes, but in my experience, the delivery arrived pretty swiftly. I made the order go to my home address rather than my university address just in case I had moved out before the delivery arrived as I had made the order coming up to the end of the academic year.

Delivery was also free which is a bonus!

Reviews Provided - Another aspect I liked was that most of the items had accompanying reviews which made the website seem all the more legitimate. I always try to get an informed opinion before I buy, especially if I'm trying somewhere new.

Affordability - The clothes on Zaful look really nice and won't break the bank. The fashion industry is so fast-paced that I don't see the point in spending a fortune on something that may not stay trendy.

Zaful Negatives
I honestly can't say many negative things about the service provided by Zaful. The website is quite seamless, delivered in a timely manner and at an affordable price. However the quality of the garments wasn't the greatest.

Have you shopped with Zaful? What was your opinion?

  2. Nice post! I haven't heard alot about Zaful but I am glad you loved what you bought. Personally, I wouldn't purchase from the website as I like to try things on before I buy and also, the smell would drive me mad.
