3 Good Blogs for College Freshers!

09:00:00

Hello beautiful people,

How are you doing? Whether you are back in School, going back to college or stuck in the office, I hope you are having a pleasant day.

A lot of people are moving away from home this week and the following week, so I thought that I would share a few blogs that I feel will come in handy for those of you that are endeavouring on the adventure of third level education. Whether you're unsure of what to pack or don't want to make too many mistakes on Fresher's week, then you will probably find something here that will help you.

Lies and Bowties - Micheala Deane, the writer to this blog focuses mainly on mental health on her blog, but I really enjoyed her post on things she wishes she'd been told as a Fresher. Click here to read the post!  Not only was the post well written and delivered, but it also has a brutal honesty to it. It is probably one of the best ones I have read and I have seen a lot which have pretty much the same blabber in them. I feel like this one had some sort of a unique element to it.

Water Painted Dreams -  Hayley from this blog "Water Painted Dreams", had a "Student Sundays" series all summer long, which I felt was very informative for those who lack experience. Some example of posts she has written are "What to Pack to College" , "Saving Money on Food" and "Making Halls Home". I feel like her ideas were very good and that these would help so many freshers in need.

Sincerely Kenz - Kenzie from "Sincerely Kenz" has written a few college based posts this summer. However one of her recent ones on why 8 am classes aren't that bad really stood out to me. I had never seen it before and she makes some perfectly valid points. I also like the way that she is quite positive and upbeat about having earlier starts by looking at the bright side of things. It also is inspiring me to make my mornings more productive when I am back!

Will you be using these resources in your preparations to go to Uni?
