Having four new Oxford Street Exclusives displayed in your bedroom in their beauty really entices you to use the lush products very quickly. I have already used half of the products my dad bought me in the UK. First Lush "Skydancer" and now "Yoga Bomb" which I shall be reviewing today!
The sticker label on this bath bomb reads : "If you long calm contemplation, drop this layered bomb into the bath, As the mesmerising colours unfurl, woody olibanum and ho wood create an atmosphere of deep relaxation"
Now I have to say that the descriptions really sell these products. They create an idyllic atmosphere for your bath time, which is something I am really into. I love spending time in my tub and I want to enhance my bath time, so yes I get sold by the words on these products. Also I find that they are interesting to include. The label really suggests that this is a product intended for relaxation.
Although the outside is pretty plain and simple, a whole orange colour, we discover as the bath bomb continues to fizz in the bath tub, there are some colours hidden in the centre of the product. These shades include blue and purple. I found that these just blended into the water which mixed into a cider colour. It kind of looked like there was beer poured in my bath as there were white frothy bits floating around the water also. The only difference was that these was gold glitter sprinkled across the bath. Although the idea is quite glitzy, when the tub is empty, expect to find a lot of residue of glitter stuck to the rims of the tubs and prepare to do a bit of cleaning up after yourselves! The water feels very soft and velvet-y at the touch which is good, but the final colour didn't overly impress me.
Finally, the scent. I am terrible at describing these, but I really liked this smell. It was kind of woody I suppose and autumnal. I imagine that a lot of people may not like this smell, it is heavy smelling too so you'd have to like the smell to enjoy this product. Have a sniff the next time you're at the lush store.
Retailing for £3.75 , you get a reasonable deal, a nice smelling product, not the most pleasant colour, glitter residues left on the tub and lastly nice soft to the touch water.
What do you think of "Yoga Bomb"?
